Para-Investigations

A team of paranormal investigators  based across the UK

Bevel: Séance

This form of spirit communication is probably one of the best known methods. Members of the Séance can either be seated or standing and link hands to form a circle.

The lead communicator then calls out to the spirits in the building to come forward and use the energy in the circle to communicate. As a team, we have had some good success with this method and have communicated and received data via knocks, bangs or air movement around the group. We generally use this method at the start of the night to build up the energies for the night.

The séance communicator needs to ensure that the séance is started and closed correctly and also provide instruction on spiritual protection
Bevel: Glass Work / Glass Divination
This experiment is excellent visual method of communication and provides our data for the reports we produce. We start of the glass divination with a core team of investigators who can channel their energies into the glass. An upturned glass is situated in a smooth surface, such as a table or board and each of the investigation team place a finger on the glass. The lead communicator asks questions such as move the glass if any spirits are present, move the glass to the right for yes etc.

If the glass starts moving, then we ask each participant to turn their finger upside down, this helps eliminate the unconscious movement of the glass. The lead communicator needs to ensure that the experiment is started and closed correctly and also provide instruction on spiritual protection
Bevel: Pendulum Crystal Work
The crystal experiment involves using a number of crystals suspended below a chain to communicate with spirit. We have found this method very susceptible to unconscious hand movement so we tend to use stand alone holders to mount the crystals.

The lead communicator then calls out to the spirits in the building to come forward and move the crystal to show their presence.

We have had little success with this method but it is still a valid method technique.
Bevel: Table Tipping
This experiment calls for a stable table and a solid floor. The experiment starts in the same way as the séance. The members of the experiment all place finger tips on the edge of the table and this can be undertaken both standing or sitting.

The lead communicator calls out to the spirits in the building to come forward and use the energy around the table to communicate. We find that this experiment takes a while to produce any results but as soon as the table starts moving we rotate members to avoid unconscious hand movement.

We have started experimenting using soft putty under each members fingers. This allows us to inspect the putty post investigation to ensure that the members have not been applying too much pressure.
Bevel: Dowsing Rods
This method of communication goes back centuries and is an excellent way of communication. We find this method works well with experienced investigators . We generally only use one rod at a time and prior to the experiment undertake baseline tests to ensure we can centralise the rods post questioning.

The dowser normally asks the questions but we have found that the rods work well to anybody asking questions. We have also found that not everybody can use the dowsing rods and it normally 50/50 whether users can get them to move.

The dowsing rods are also used in parallel to the other experiments and provide backup (or not) to any data we receive.
Bevel: EMF Experiments
During an experiment the team were able to communicate through a Electro Magnetic Field reader. The team asked questions and the EMF detected and sounded an alarm.

We use this device as a controlled experiment used in parallel to the other experiments and provide backup (or not) to any data we receive.

We have only successfully managed to communicate through this method on a couple of investigations.
