The intentional Psychic Vampire usually selects a significant member of a group of people, someone preferably who is popular. In most cases this victim will have gone through some kind of traumatic experience, either illness, a separation, divorce or a death of a close one, someone who is not emotionally strong at the time. Knowing this, the psychic vampire will become very close to this person, very friendly, giving support and advice, making itself invaluable to the intended victim, always there when needed etc The next step is to isolate its victim, making the victim feel entirely dependant on them alone. It will do everything in its power to appear to be a positive influence upon the group so that everyone gets to rely on this vamp. It will create the impression that it is powerful in some way, making itself of value to the group, when in truth it has no power whatsoever, only what its made people think, but it will never give much away about itself. The real clever vampire will establish themselves as the main authority figure, while giving the impression that they are not actually "in charge".

Text Box: Psychic Vampires Throughout history psychic vampires have existed and still do today, they can be anybody from a work acquaintance, friend even a member of ones family, these beings/people zap the energy of their fellow men. Some people can be a psychic vampire and not even realise it. Usually the victim of these vampires become lethargic, continually tired and sometimes that low it leads to depression. Of course it doesn’t mean that every time you feel exceptionally tired that you are under attack. Text Box: What to do?? Do not show signs of rebellion or resistance, as soon as the vamp realises this he/she will react. Psychic vampires hate been left in the dark on important issues. If threatened ,it will start voicing doubts and concerns as to the ability of the so called REBEL, casting doubts into the minds of others, It will try to alienate the rebel from the rest of the group, thus regaining its power over everyone again, Remember the vamp has gained status in the group so it automatically expects the rest of the group to go along with its way of thinking and they usually do! Think POSITIVE.
If you refuse to accept that the vampire can harm you and totally BELIEVE THIS, then little or no harm can come to you, they will probably move on to another weak victim elsewhere. The psychic vampire rarely considers that you will be able to defend yourself.
